I spotted this vintage Hamilton Beach mixer shopping in a local antique mall & when I read all the speed settings, I had quite a giggle!

I don’t always dominate men, but when I do…

I like to start off by stirring & slowly increase intensity until just as he’s creaming I stop and have him bake me a cake.

Once that’s done — and done well, I’ll get to the beating, whipping, &, finally, the attachments. *wink*

My mother in law had no idea why I was giggling so hard. I didn’t know quite what to say, other than I have a simple hand mixer with two speeds, “Hi and Lo”. Which is the god’s honest truth. But I’m sure she thinks I am a little daft for laughing about so many other (and specific) settings.

But I do want a mixer like this. So hint-hint, boys! (This vintage one was $58; there’s a pretty pink vintage Sunbeam mixer I’d like, which is close to $200, that I like too… What a perfect way to make Valentine treats!)
